wild card - News bias: left vs Right

In the world of news media there are certain bias that effect how the news is shared and in which direction it skews. These differences show the ideologies of the two competing sides. Some say the left is crazy some say the right is crazy, the real question is are they both crazy lets look at some headlines and see how what they say about the same topic

obviously the Dems thought this executive order that Trump signed was not a good thing when the conservatives thought quite the opposite. This example is an easy and obvious one, as of course the conservatives are going to agree with what Trump has to say and agree with his executive order as Trump of course is a republican. Lets also look at the pictures they use. The liberals make Trump look angry and mean by using a photo taken at the time of him either moving his head or about to speak, making the President look like a mean spirited person or bully. The conservative side is obviously gloating over their perceived win as they use a phot of Trump smiling smugly and the use of #winning in the post. The text of the post itself says just keeps getting better. Whats getting better precisely? Better for you? Better for republicans? Better at one-upping the liberals who knows.
These two articles show the difference in what liberals and conservatives want the public to know about the then newly elected president. Liberals once again use a not so great photo of Trump looking confused or concerned as they say hey he is still asking for your money because he is broke. The Conservatives on the other hand are using the news of Trump giving a place to former competitor Ben Carson a place in his Whitehouse as to make people think oh maybe Trump is a kind caring person. Possibly giving his former adversary a place with him.
Now lets talk about a very contentious topic, abortion. So many people are ready to talk about how they feel on this topic but the way the media covers it, based on their bias. On the left they dont really talk about abortion but why the right is really mad about it and how Samantha Bee "obliterated" the right on the topic. Where as the right, as usual, speaks in fear mongering way. The way the impart their information would lead the reader to believe all the most terrible thoughts about the procedure. Most of the anti-abortion rhetoric you hear from the right is usually made to make one feel bad for abortion, about how the babies feel pain, or heartbeats and so on.

Another favorite thing of both sides, mudslinging. The right went straight after attacking Hillary for possibly wearing a wire because they couldnt tell the difference between the shape of her ear from a device. Where as the left try to make it look like they brought in another voice to help shed some light on debate topics where it is most likely another left leaning individual to further upon their own beliefs on the subjects broached at the debate. All in all both sides are equally notorious for trying to bread down the other. To have them viewed as something less than the other. Both sides believe they are right and because of this belief there bias becomes more and more obvious especially during election season. As the mud begins to fly the only ones truly hit are the American people.
